What is Creative Learning Solution’s Summer Math Camp?

The Math Camp is a 5 day workshop that introduces students ages 9 – 14 to Algebra in a fun and interactive way using the “Hands-On equations” curriculum.

The workshop will also will show that mathematics can be fun by using other learning materials such as math puzzles, fun math games, and learn some amazing math magic tricks and more.


What curriculum do you use?

Hands-on Equations is the main curriculum used during Summer Math Camp. This is a visual and kinesthetic teaching system for helping students in grades 3-8 understand and solve algebraic equations such as 4x + 3 = 3x + 9 and 2(x + 3) = x + 8. Additional resources will be used for supplements and games.


How will my child benefit?

Your child will be able to solve complex algebraic equations even if they have not studied algebra. If they are already familiar with algebra, they will gain a better understanding of how it works and learn more advanced algebra concepts through the hands-on curriculum. Your child will experience a significant increase in confidence in their mathematical ability. The course will renew their interest in math and help prepare them for future success.


What if my child is already good at math?

The course will take your child to a higher level. Students who are already good at math always say they wish they could have learned the material at a younger age. We tailor the camp to the ability of each student. We begin by giving a pre-assessment to determine where each student’s


What is the class size?

Each class is limited to 15 students. Each class will be taught by a highly-trained instructor, and one or two well-qualified assistants.


Where will the Math Camp be held?

Summer Math Camp classes will be held at a convenient location in the Goodlettsville area. Check back on this site for updated info about location.


When are the classes and registration?

Each course consists of 15 hours of instruction, taught over one week, three hours per day, M-F. The math camp will be taught in the morning from 9am-12pm each day beginning June 22nd. All course materials are provided to the students.


How much does it cost?

Each five day session costs $150.00 per child plus a one-time registration fee of $50.00


Are there any discounts?

Yes. We offer early registration, sibling, and multi-session discounts.


Do you offer financial scholarships?

No, not at this time.


What is your refund policy?

The registration fee is non-refundable. Camp tuition may be partially refunded in certain circumstances at the discretion of Owner.


Who are the faculty?

Mr. Greg Tucker, the owner of Creative Learning Solutions In-HomeTutoring, is the primary instructor. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University and is an adjunct math professor at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN.


Do you offer other camps during the year?
