Place Value Activities

Place Value is a key concept to understanding how numbers work. Place value activities are a great tool for school and at home that will help your child get some fun out of learning this very important math concept!

You need: a partner or small group, a die or 0 - 9 spinner

The object of the game is to make the largest number possible. Each player will draw the following on their paper.

Players take turns rolling the die or spinning the spinner. Each time a number comes up, each player writes it in one space of their game board. Once written, the number cannot be moved. Whoever has the largest number and is able to read it is the winner.
